Introduction

Save The World By Planting Trees (SWP) is a Non Governmental Organization established by the locals from the municipal of Iringa with the main objectives of afforestation, reforestation, to preserve existed forests and water resources also to conduct environmental education which includes seedlings techniques, after care and environmental friendly out reach programs especial to the community earning their lives through biomass. 

Africa accounts for about one fifth of the earth’s land area. Forest covers more than 653 million hectares which is more than 20 % of the continent’s land area. However   in the period 2000 to 2005 about, four million hectares of forest were lost annually mainly due to conversion to small scale agriculture.
